HAPPY JULY!
The Color of the Month is BLUE and all things SPARKLY! Come by and check out our sparklers – Feza and Tilli Tomas yarns and our blue stuff – buttons, bags, bobbles and of course yarn. All are 15% off during the month of July. This applies to in stock items only.
HOLIDAY CLOSING: We are looking forward to lighting a few sparklers, cranking ice cream and kicking back with family and friends so we will be closed Sunday and Monday, July 4 & 5th. We WILL be open on Saturday, July 3 and ready for Lunch Bunch and Block of the Month club on Tuesday, July 6th.
Class News: Classes are on hiatus this month but we are available for private lessons in knitting and crocheting. The cost is very reasonable and because you are one on one with the teacher, there is no down time. Call or stop in for more information and we will have you ready to start knitting or crocheting a sweater by the time the new classes ramp up. And WOW! Do we ever have some exciting new ideas for classes that will begin in late August; stay tuned!
We continue to have our ongoing activities throughout the summer: Tuesday Lunch Bunch, Thursday Knit Night, Block of the Month, and Norwegian Sweater. More details are provided on the CLASSES page.
New Stuff: Since TNNA, new items are trickling in: Leather handles for felted bags and purses; a baby yarn ‘kit’ that is one ginormous ball of yarn, 2 patterns and 3 buttons for under $12 --- too cute and adorable. We have a new (for us) Noro yarn called Iro and wait until you see the colors; it makes us hyperventilate. And one of our favorite companies, Indiana’s own, Alpaca With a Twist has created approved colors for the Super Bowl 2012- Super Scarves program. Touch Down is a lovely combination of Highland Wool, Bamboo and Alpaca, 220 yards for $6.70 – the same price as Cascade 220. And remember blue is the color of the month --- SCORE!!!
We also have a few, limited kits we picked up at TNNA. They are $20 or less and make great gifts or quick knits. Once they are gone, they are gone because they are yarns that we do not carry. We just couldn’t resist buying a few to see how you like them.
Keep those needles and hooks busy; stay in where it’s cool and beat the heat by knitting or crocheting.
